Glitter canvas can replace regular canvas, stretched over the same kind of frame. A copy-painting in marker begins by defining dark forms, then adding some contrasting metallic and color to make the drawing easier to see. Find the darkest darks and add black marker. Keep adding contrast to create drama and the sense of area.
Keep adding to the contrast to get the effect that you want. Layer the ink and marker until it glows. Use the texture of the glitter to blend the colors together, blending out dark lines into a believable image.
